Churchill's Parrot

A while back someone asked about how long a parrot would live and how much of a pain in the butt they can be. Well, I just read where Winston Churchill's foul-mouthed parrot has hit a ripe age of 104 and still going. Reports say it used to call Hitler 4 letter words. Not yet known if it knows Churchill's secret Mai Tai formula.

Moved to beyond tiki and deleted my own dumbly posted redundant thread.

This one is likely a hoax. I've seen a couple of articles that had statements like the following ...

"But the Churchill family has questioned the story.

His daughter, Lady Soames, 82, told The Scotsman: 'I'm fed up with this story that my father taught it rude words. He only ever had an African grey parrot and it certainly did not talk.' "
