Hello all, My name is Brian and I'm an artist working in Los Angeles. I do a lot of illustration and design for the skateboard and snowboard industry. Since our honeymoon on the Big Island two years ago I've become very interested in all things Tiki. My wife and I returned to Hawaii last year to visit Maui and plan on going back every year until we've spent serious time on all the islands. I've recently started a Tiki Mug collection when I purchased two Tiki Farm pieces from Frankie's Tiki Room on our last trip to Las Vegas. I hope to learn a lot about Tiki here and share my art that's been inspired by my new obsession! You can check out my art if you're interested at brianromero.com. There's a few island inspired pieces (Endless Summer on my home page and some Tiki stuff in the Ruins series) with more to come. That's all for now!!! |

Welcome. You should start to post your finished art under Gallery. Each time you add a piece just edit and you can keep them tagged on the same post. If you photograph your step by steps you can post those under "other crafts" and we'll all enjoy watching. WooHooWahine and her husband Soccer Tiki put on the best event at Marketplace. We have driven from Sacramento at least 5 times to attend. You will make so many friends and have so much fun. Cheers, Wendy |
