Handmade Welded Steel Tiki Surfer

First post, but I wanted to start off right.

Just wanted to drop a picture of my Welded Steel tiki that I completed. It is 32" Tall and is made entirely from recycled steel. The head and wave are constructed of 16 ga steel and the body made from round tube. He was hand built and the welds were finished with power tools and hand files where exposed. He is very heavy and I had to use a jig to build it.

Was a complete labor of love and I hope everyone here enjoys it!

Thanks,

Mad skills. Anyone who has welded can tell you that is serious business. Also, great pose and action in the figure, he is shredding for sure. You gonna paint him, or let him rust?

I appreciate that!

At this point I have a light clear coat on it. Trying to let it patina slowly and then put a heavy clear on it.

Yeah man, that really is awesome. Keep going, you have talent. I'd love to see more of your work.
