maybe someone can tell me if my second hand purchase (very cheap) is a bad, but funny modern mess of a tiki-----or a real and humorous mid century tiki vase. Either way I got a kick out of it. Have always been drawn to mid century tiki, love the attitude :) thanks |

I have no idea if it's old or new,, I'm not a mug guy at all, but how about a third possibility- a modern piece, but very well done? Old or new, I like it better than lots of mugs I've seen. It has clean uncomplicated lines. Wanna sell it? |

Your mug is a counterfeit version of Munktiki's Kreepy design. Link to the Munktiki versions on Ooga-Mooga: Mention of the counterfeit mugs in an earlier thread: The Munktiki Kreepy mugs are prominently marked on the bottom; the counterfeit mugs are unmarked. I've seen a handful of these in the past few years, in both green and black exterior glazes. |
