Holy Grail mug found!

Or at least for me. So far. OK, it's actually the first collectible type mug I've ever bought, but it's a piece of my childhood. It's from the Trade Winds in Oxnard, CA, a place that fascinated me as a youngster. All that's left of that place are a few palm trees, at which I stare wistfully when I drive by.

This was way more $ than my comfort level, but it was worth it. It has three faces on the barrel. A piece of tiki and Ventura County history.

Where did you find this treasure

Congrats on finding a mug that has meaning to you and that you've always wanted.

Congratulations on your find!

NICE! I just passed up on two of these on eBay! They're lovely.

Congrats!! I remember the Tradewinds and Wagon Wheel as a kid there in Oxnard too..

The recently knocked the last remaining bits of Wagon Wheel down, and took out the TW palms. Nothing left now but ghosts and memories

Let me know if you want a replica of the Trade Winds sign logo:

these run $25

Buzzy Out!
