Honolulu/Pearl Hotel Suggestions?

Can anyone suggest a reasonable hotel near enough to Pearl Harbor for one night's stay? It seems there is little to none of the old tiki-decorated hotels about, but perhaps there is something with some vintage character that is not a rat-trap either.

I'm sure others will add more thoughts. But for a start, these smaller, comparatively inexpensive Waikiki hotels seem to have the most old-style going on:
