At least that ashtray looks kinda cool. There's one of those rubber Menehune swizzle sticks listed on eBay at $197 right now. |

Wow! Super cool indeed. Never seen the Aku Aku one before. There are similar ashtrays for The Los Angeles Islander and Trader Dick's. But never have I seen an Aku Aku one. |

It's all relative, as you mentioned earlier, you wouldn't spend more than $30 for the ashtray. My guess is that, to the buyer, dropping close to $500 for this is ashtray is probably the same as $30 to you! I'm also guessing they likely already have an Elvis Blue Hawaii mug in their collection. Some people have money to burn, I wouldn't chastise them for spending it on Tiki. |

It's very cool. But there are a few folks that spend about five thousand in cash EVERY month on tiki. That's decadence at it's highest level in these hard economic times. But if I were some rich doctor I may do the same thing. |
