I often wondered why there was just a fork and spoon, and no knife. Then earlier this year I went to the Philippines where these come from and discovered why: Filipinos usually only use a fork and spoon when eating a meal. Watching them cut meat with a spoon is like watching an artist sculpt. :) |

OK, I better update my bucket list... REMOVE: Travel to Phillipines to discover why they don't carve tiki knives to go with fork & spoon. ADD: Convince the world that my Harvey's bucket mugs and T.V. coconut mugs are very rare, valuable and desireable so that I can sell them for lots of $$$ to pay for the other stuff on my bucket list. |

Funny thread so far. I like those huge witco utensils and Buzzy's collection is stuff I would keep but I do get all snobby when I see those forks and spoons at the thrift farm |
