Muppets play laser tag in Neon Tiki environment

In the last episode of the Muppets TV show; Kermit Miss Piggy and other Muppets were playing laser tag. The environment was themed with tikis and other tropical imagery such as volcanos and flowers. Obviously the neon colors they were painted with doesn't fit with the classic mid century tiki vibe. However I thought it was a sign the tiki is definitely experiencing a resurgence of interest.

Is it just me, or does the mouth on that top picture look 3D?

Yikes. I mean, glad for Tiki revival, but why so garish? Makes people not familiar think that's the "norm". I guess because it's laser tag, but good grief. The look reminds me of the indoor 3-D tiki mini golf I played long ago in Waikiki.
