This is one thing many tiki bars had at least one of….
You see them in the Mai Kai and this one here was the one that hung
Right above Bill Sapps desk.
I got it at the last Kahiki sale in the warehouse.
Don’t know why they added these to many tiki bars but in the Mai Kai
You see them in the Gift shop, and as I said the one pictured here was in an office upstairs.

Do have one more of these lights that was in Lee Henrys office as well.

Theme restaurants were very big back at the time these restaurants started so this may be why, who knows.
Bill and Lee even had one other theme restaurant call the Wine Cellar in Tudor style, old English type stuff.

Don't know if these are really tiki but being as they were in both Bill and Lees offices that's good enough for me.

Going to repaper and light this one up stay tuned…

Nice. Looks like Moroccan.

Thanks Greg.
It's one of the most rare lights I have from the Kahiki as there were only two AND
hung above Bill Sapps desk!

Man if this light could talk!

"Man if this light could talk!"

It would say April fools!
I posted this on April fools and nobody said anything, Man I thought that one guy you know who would go off.

It did not work, this light came from an estate sale but is still cool I think.
The Mai Kai had some of this style in their place but these were not in every tiki bar.

Wonder if anyone will even see this?

If they do I hope it's on April fools.
In the mean time MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!
