Hello All,

One week before Tiki Oasis in So. Cal.

Sat. August 8th, 8 am to 8 pm
at the Garden Grove Elks Club
11551 Trask Avenue,(at Newhope)
Garden Grove, Ca. 92843

This is about 5 miles East of the old venue,
and about 1 mile south, so I recommend that you still stay at Dons turf motel, but its your choice if you want to get a motel closer.

remember that there is a After party in Huntington beach,
and the HB pier show on sun. also.

Pre shows in Nor Cal the weekend before,to the weekend after in San Diego area. There will be Wed to Fri Pre shows in So Cal.,
An after party at a Venue (tbd).
And there will be a Huntington Beach Pier show the day after SG101 show.

Just a heads up for anybody making plans to come to so cal for SG101.
There will be pre and post shows from Wednesday before to the Tuesday after. There will be an after party on Sat. Night.
And a HB pier show on Sunday.
And a wind down jam session
After the pier show Sunday evening.

Please book your rooms at Dons Turf Motel.
1 block down the street From the Starting gate
Where the Sat. Convention will be held.
8 am to 8 pm. After party is about 5 miles away.

All the details will be coming in awhile shortly.

Good news and bad news.
Announcing that the Longboards From Spain will be playing now.
and Shockwave from Finland had to Cancel.

Longboards played here in Ca. either before or after the 1st SG101 8 years ago. It will be great to have them back.

Just a quick shout out and thank you to Jeff for another great SG101 Convention. This year we stayed for be after party and the pier show the next day and I'm really glad we did. More thoughts later - too busy spinning vinyl and transferring all my new CDs so I can take 'em with me to Oasis.

Looking at the line-up for 2016 on SG101 and it looks stellar as usual. I'm very excited to see the Space Cossacks and the Phantom Four on the bill. And having the show at Alpine Village? Sweet!

Any chance of starting a thread for 2016 for the convention and the satellite (and Pier) shows?
