Is this a good price for rattan chairs?

Hi all, I'm working on collecting for my future bar and saw these rattan chairs on craigslist. He was asking $75 for the pair and I talked him down to $50 but he sounds firm there. So before I pull the trigger I was hoping you guys could tell me if it seems like a good deal.

Seems like a great deal if they're sturdy! They look really nice.

However ... they look a bit short (could just be the photo angle), so you might want to make sure they're bar height (usually 29"-30" to the top of the seat), rather than counter height (usually 24-25" to the top of the seat).

Hard to tell from the photo, but if I go see them and they look old and faded, can rattan be brought back in your experience? Pulled or Old English or something?

Do a search here for rattan repair, or rattan refinishing. I'm sure there's a thread somewhere around here that talks about it.
