Recently obtained a charming 1960s 7x7 booklet with four flexi-discs called "Sounds Of Hawaii." It highlights various features of a Hawaiian vacation such a visit to Ulu Mau Village, mesages from then Gov. William Quinn & Don The Beachcomber, hula lessons, and such. I recorded the flexi-discs and made a video you might enjoy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3_PXbScmlLc [ Edited by: Kaiwaza 2016-08-23 11:14 ] |

Very nice share, I don't recall ever seeing "flexi-discs" or "sono-sheets" before. Although I do seem to remember having seen 45 RPM "records" printed in plastic on the back of some cereal boxes when I was a kid. |

Interesting. Same recording I have of Don. They must have pressed it as a flexi-disc... Enjoy. |

I don't recall seeing a "book" of flexi-discs like that before. Neat concept. |

I have not had a chance to watch your video yet, but I will. I already know I will like it. |

I've used http://www.keepvid.com to save youtube videos as MP3. It's worked pretty well for me. |

Thanks, I have as well on obscure things that I can't find any MP3s of but they're usually over compressed and sound like garbage. Hoping since Kaiwaza ripped this and put the video together he has clips he can email me. Otherwise I'll go your route. |

Agreed - a direct MP3 would sound a lot better. |
