Havana Club Anejo Especial

My wife was visiting Mexico and brought me a bottle of Havana Club Anejo Especial. I enjoy using the 3 and 7 year in drinks, but haven't seen this one before. Any suggestions on what drinks it should be used in or Rum it can be substituted for? Any help appreciated, thanks.

I haven't seen one of those in awhile. Personally I prefer the 7 year, but that one isn't bad. I just used mine in drinks that called for gold or amber rums and it tended to work out fine.

It's my go-to gold PR rum - in a Navy Grog I split it 50:50 with Bacardi 8 but otherwise I use it solo everything!

For those in the US without a trip to Mexico planned, IMO Cruzan Gold is very similar & if I could get it for the same prices as you do in the US, I'd just use that :)
