The truck had been driving erratically late Tuesday, said DPS Sgt. Steve Tritz. "It got my attention," Tritz said. "He was driving slow and failing to signal." The driver, who identified himself as 28-year-old Brian Rivera Martinez, said he didn't know how to drive the truck. When a drug-sniffing dog arrived, it alerted authorities to possible narcotics. DPS officers found 4,112 pounds of marijuana bundled in the area where trash would be carried. Martinez and passenger, Michael Trejo Duran Sr., 38, were arrested on suspicion of transporting and possessing marijuana for sale. United Universists http://universist.org

Cops noted that the car was stolen. As the man was being arrested his girlfriend saw what was happening as she rode by on a city bus. She exited at the next bus stop....ran back to the car and urgently told the officers that she needed her clothes and a teddy bear from the trunk. The officers (being suspicious) noted that the teddy bear was overstuffed. Finding a small opening they discovered $50,000 worth of heroin inside the fat teddy bear....The girl was not arrested because she said she knew nothing about the heroin......but the man?.....Book 'em Dano!!!
