I purchased this small 5" tiki from eBay a few years ago. While the listing did not mention it, its foot is marked "Hooten Kohala." Of course this peaked my interest and a few hours of internet researching later I found out some information regarding this master carver from the 1960s-1970s on the Big Island. I did not see ANY mention of him on Tiki Central and thought he deserved a new topic. Any members have additional pieces or information on Philip Hooten?
