Never heard of Iwilei. Apparently it was the red light district. I used Google Translator and it simply means "yard." Haha |

more likely, they were easily rounded up passed out in nearby Aala Park, which sits between the Iwilei district (harbor / cannery centric) and Chinatown / downtown Honolulu. the hookers were ensconced downtown where the cops could keep it under quasi-control, but of course anything and everything could of happened. |
