Super rare card from the Trader Vic's/Polinesio in Havana, Cuba. Restaurant is still there.

Another hard to find one from the Mai Kai with the big Barney West Tiki out front.

Another Mai Kai exterior with the 3 cannibals.

A nice Tonga Room postcard from San Fancisco.

Don the Beachcomber Hawaiian word dictionary card posted from 1953.

And a cool Trader Vic's Outrigger card from Seattle.

Also a Trader Sam's Menu from Disneyland.

$18+ to send a single postcard to Australia???

T

You know I used to get stuff from China, like earrings for my wife and they would be like carved shells for like one dollar, with shipping!

From China!
How could they do that I thought.

Also shipping from to Canada is high, it's right next door, and it sucks because it takes forever and may not get there at all.

THEN I saw on TV that America was going to stop a subsidy that made postage to/from China less.

Amazon also gets cut rates from US postal rates.

So it might be one of those types of things.

Postage everywhere is too high these days.
Everything is shipped by air now.

Remember long ago things used to be shipped in these huge wooden crates, man that would cost a ton now to ship.

Our Christmas cards took 48 days in transit in some cases this year.
Amazon stuff always gets here in two, three days, Hummm odd.

Oh yeah.
Nice cards.

Swizzle,

That must be some sort of Ebay generated price. I have never shipped to Australia before, but I would only charge you for what it costs is you want to buy one of the postcards.
