Well, I've never thought of aloe vera as a garnish. Kinda cool. And now I'm reminded of the plant my grandma had in the sunroom of my grandparents' house. I don't remember ever seeing her drink, let alone garnish....

Keep in mind that not all aloe plants are edible. We tend to casually call any succulent that fits the general description "aloe vera" but that's not always accurate. Be sure you're using one of the edible varieties, otherwise the end result could be stomach cramps or worse. :)

The aloe vera in my front yard is blooming, I was planning to use a blooming stock as a garnish when the situation presents itself. The other flower looks like Red Vein Chinese Lantern (Abutilon pictum)
