Not able to edit profile - site continues to return invalid password

I have been trying for the last week to update my profile and the site continues to return invalid password. I am a new user as of the site re opening. Captcha is correct and password is correct.

Is there possible something wrong with my account?

Are you entering your current password in "Current Password"? If you're not changing your password leave "New Password" and "Confirm New Password" blank.

I am entering my current password, the new password and confirm new password were left blank.

I had problems registering via Chrome (it kept hanging up on "submitting"), so I tried it via Safari and it worked. Perhaps try another browser?

Did you have an adblocker in Chrome?

I should have mentioned, I am using firefox with no ad blocker.
