Welcome aboard the 2004 Tiki Bus!

Due to overwhelming interest, it is STRONGLY suggested that you book your space on the bus IMMEDIATELY. You don’t want to miss out. The bus allows you to drink freely all night and travel in style and comfort. It will also be virtually impossible for you to get to Fairfax for the final destination without it, unless you are stone-cold sober and have a car, because the Fairfax Police are VERY aggressive about DUIs.

Now, let’s take a look at all you get with your Delux Bus Package:

-Eight hours of transportation and entertainment. The bus has a CD changer, TVs showing tiki movies, onboard bathroom and FREE TIKI DRINKS ALL NIGHT. (soda & water, too!) Hell, there’s even an on board waiter to do the pouring. We’ll stop at all the hot spots and maybe a surprise or two. The bus will pick up people at the Four Points in Emeryville and go straight to The Tonga Room. Everyone else joining us from SF or other points should meet us there. From there, we’re off!! Here’s what you need to do to join history in the making:

Reservations must be made by PAYPAL ONLY. Your confirmed funds transfer confirms your seat on the bus. All riders must pay in advance- no exceptions. Those of you here last year will remember how I got burned. (But was bailed out with everyone’s generosity). Sorry to be a hard ass, but I just gotta break even on this thing. CAUTION: CHEAP PERSON WARNING;
ARRGH! -This is sort of out of my price range!!! If I skip Fairfax I can essentially save about $40--BUT if I drink myself silly and not buy drinks at the bars (don't drink at a tiki bar-a rather silly idea-unless you are a tee-totaler)maybe i can break even! $10 cover included for band at 19 Broadway. free drinks on bus. tiki mug i may not need. i don't know. For me there are pro's and con's. I'm going to be wimpy on this one--FOLKS, HELP ME OUT with some advice. Thanks, wishy-washy and cheap ,Mr Smiley.

I just noticed there is no Trader Sam's on the itinerary for Saturday nite.
Replaced by Mr. Vise Grip’s Bamboo Bar in west Marin County .
Where exactly in Marin is that? Since I live on that side of the bay now, I may depart from there at the end of the night rather than cross the bridge twice.

Trader Sam's will be our first stop on Thursday night for the preparty, then off to my place down the street to continue- plus I will announce that my living room will be a tiki art gallery with beautiful works for sale by Heather Watts (www.theartdeck.com) Heather will also be showing at Vic's on Friday night.

The Bamboo Bar is inside 19 Broadway in Fairfax. We can leave you in Fairfax, but you'd better get a cab or be stone cold sober, because the Fairfax cops are ruthless. They'll bust you for looking at them funny.
