OK, so this is about as FAR off-topic as, well, Oktoberfest, but I was curious to know if anyone was planning on going to this year's Rennaisance Festival???

TikiMel,
Shelley and I met at a ren-Faire. We used to go to the Northern Faire when we lived in Nevada. Now it's the Southern Faire, I miss the old angoura site. Has the northern faire moved?. Do you like the new site?. Have Fun.

You 2 need to open a costume store! Or better yet, a mobile costume store so then you'd be able to hit the tiki joints on the road! You 2 are super cool! A pleasure to know you's.

I have no idea if it has moved. I just moved here, myself, from Texas (home of a HUGE annual RenFest every October). I LOVE them. Was actually hoping to perform, but I missed the enrollment deadline by a few weeks. Oh well... next year, maybe

AWESOME costumes, btw!!!! You guys look great!

p.s.
Augora was cool!

This is the first year for the NoCal Ren Faire at Casa De Fruita. It's been the victim of development twice over the last few years, first getting kicked out of its long time home in Novato, then being tossed from the Nut Tree in Vacaville after only a couple of years.

I think the fact that it's moving from the Nut Tree to the Fruit House is somehow appropriate. :)

Heather (TikiMama) and Craig on this list are big into Ren Faire. There could be some connection between tiki and this- well, it's all costumed, themed entertainment I suppose.

I haven't been in years, but it's always a good time.
