Elisabeth Waldo Is Alive, and Performs In Her Own Theater

I was fairly amazed to find out whilst reading my emailed newsletter from the San Fernando Valley historical society that Ms. "Rites of the Pagan" herself still performs, and she even has her own theater in Northridge. Shows are not cheap, but still, how many original exotica masters are left?

(The connection to Valley history is that she lets the group hold meetings at her place, and the museum itself might move there.)

and she is STILL alive, hanging in there at age 104. (Would doubt that she still performs, tho.)

Didn't realize that she performed with Yma Sumac.

Pity her website still links to her defunct CD Baby page for her music, as I'd like to grab some. Most other artists shifted over to Bandcamp when CD Baby ditched them. It doesn't look as if her page has had much in the way of updates since 2017.
