I recently picked up this Cannibal Warrior style tiki from a road-side carver. It looks to be palm wood and is extremely dry and weathered. Looking for advice on whether preservation steps are necessary. Will be kept indoors in newly remodeled Tiki room. Just want to avoid further cracking and expansion. Thoughts? He looks to be in good shape to me. If you keep him in side he most likely not change, much. If you like the way he looks your done. He looks like he earned his patina. |
