Tiki Central / Home Tiki Bars

Kapu Lounge (1.0, historical, Phoenix AZ circa 2002)

The reason I rediscovered Tiki Central was back was when I was looking for pictures of my first home tiki bar from the early 2000's. Alas, no pictures because they were hosted on my old website. But I was able to find them using the way back machine. So, I'm reposting these to preserve them. Why? I dunno, my first bar was terrible, though I wish I still had the giant Moai candle.

Now I live in a different house in a different state with a different (and much cooler) wife.

Hey, it's better than what I've got right now! Really digging that tapa wallpaper by the way.

That was made out of corrugated cardboard. I got it from oceanic arts. I tried finding something similar for my new bar. Ended up using plastic tablecloth for my tapa effect on the back wall lolimage
