I have started a new build on a basement tiki bar and can't find the material I want for my walls. I have one small piece of a wallpaper-like material covered with skinny half-round bamboo. I just love the dimensional texture of it so much better than flat slats. I don't even remember where I got this, but it's exactly what I want and I can't find it anywhere. Any tips? (Coruba bottle included for scale. And because I'm so geeked I found a bottle of it in Michigan!) |

Search for bamboo tambour panels. It's made from strips of bamboo held together with a fabric backing and comes in a variety of looks. I've used them extensively in my builds. Forever Bamboo is the biggest source but if you shop around big box stores like Home Depot or even Amazon may have the option to order at a lower price. |
