I've had the mug on the right for almost 5 years and the one on the left for 2 years.

I currently have the same problem, but my mug has a much clearer maker's mark. Helpful? I think not. |

I the smaller one is marked but I can't make out the name. It looks like Kawa Kilns but may be Kawai or Kawaii Kilns, but google searches for the 3 possibilities turns up nothing useful.
The larger one, which I believe was also produced in Hawaii, has no legible markings but may have faint letters engraved on the bottom similar to old Trader Vic's Waikiki mugs but I just can't make them out.
Does anyone know who made these and where they were used?
