It's on a corner lot, with a large open area as the main bar, gas tiki torches lining the perimeter, and a thatched hut for the band. There's also a rooftop bar. But beneath it is the diamond in the rough, what they call the Roost, the surprising well-done indoor tiki space. It's dark, with lamps and floats, bamboo, thatch, carved moulding, masks and tikis, and several booths. I've seen that Typhoon Tommy has been working on signs for the bar recently, but not sure if he's the one that put this together from the beginning. The only problem is that I took these pictures at 9 PM on a Saturday, and the place was dead. Hopefully there are enough people living in/around and visiting Cocoa Beach to keep the place alive.

That place was on my radar as I saw some posts while it was being built and it looked promising. Well, at least not the typical "Florida Tiki". My niece lives nearby and I was hoping to get there at some point. However, I live in Texas.. so who knows when.
