Naniloa Hotel Hilo, Hawaii

I have the great opportunity to work at this historic hotel by the sea in Hilo Hawaii. Here are some very old tiki Poles located here at the Hotel-Resort. Located near what use to be called the Polynesian Room at the Naniloa Hotel Resort.

Very cool! Are they wooden poles or is it molded concrete?

They are wooden old carvings. I was gifted one of these poles from Management. It was loose so they gave it to me and replaced it with a 4x4 post.

Each pole is about 8ft long and has 4 tiki on them. Each tiki is back to back from each other. I want to take a casting of them and put them out for sell on our website. Im so excited to have one of these pieces of history. I think the hotel went through a huge tsunami back in the day.

Yes but over the years new corporate and employees are making that place fall apart. The Air conditioners hardly work. And the paint job is desperately needing a new coat of paint.
