Sad....

Pioneering California rock musician Jan Berry, who rode the wave of the surf music trend in the 1960s as one-half of popular duo Jan & Dean, has died, his wife said on March 27, 2004. Berry, who would have turned 63 on April 3, had suffered from poor health ever since a 1966 auto wreck that left him paralyzed for a year, essentially ending the duo's career.

I just heard that on the news about 15 minutes ago & I'm still recovering. The tiki torches will be glowing a little dimmer tonite. Aloha Jan.

Wow...aloha Jan.

Have those guys been inducted into the R&R Hall of Fame yet?
