Aloha, and welcome to Tiki Central! I think what most folks here use is Coco Lopez. I did a quick search on Froogle (Google's shopping search), and found Coco Lopez available online at http://www.elcolmadito.com for $1.99. Looks like you can also get it from http://www.bevmax.com for $2.99. Since I assume you'll want to have it shipped to Spain, you may want to try the Froogle feature yourself to look for more places to find the best shipping option for you. Good luck! p.s. -- oh, no, wait, you said coconut syrup, and I thought of cream of coconut... I think they're two different things. At any rate, once someone here can tell you their brand of choice for coconup syrup, give Froogle a whirl. I had it all backwards -- the best bed is the one that's stumbling distance from Tiki-Ti, or the Mai Kai, or the Lagoon Room, or the Alibi, or the Kon Tiki, or... This may not be what you're looking for, but there is a wonderful all-natural coconut soda called Coco Rico you can buy in most southeast asian / latin american groceries. It's in a green can with a gold coconut on it and also in 2-litre bottles. It tastes great - not too sweet and without that soapy taste, but it's more more intense than young coconut water. It's popular as a cooking ingredient too for making Filipino and other asian / polynesian type dishes. On a separate note, do you people think Filipino stuff is Tiki-compatible? Not just the decor but also the food, clothes and furniture? For some reason I feel like displaying my San Miguel beer mug with my Tikis. |
