Tiki "Fluke" Ukulele

Pages: 1 3 replies

I have one of my custom Tiki "Fluke" Ukuleles on ebay. These are hand painted by me, and built into Uke's by the "magic Fluke Company". The fluke is one of the most popular new Ukuleles on the market due to it's super nice sound and easy of play. it has a non traditional shape for a Uke, but it's innovative design allows it to stand on it's own when not being played (which is rare!) Check it out!

I have a fluke and am really happy with it. I bought it at a museum exhibition of ukeleles in Stamford, CT. It was a great show.
What type of paint did you use? What paint keeps the fluke from warping after drying?
It's such a great design! beautiful work.

could I commision you to do the same on mine?

Yes, the Fluke is a good ukulele; something like the Ovation guitar of uku's. I bought one when I went to visit Al & Shelly a while back.

It has a longer scale than other ukulele's I have, of course that could be because it's a Tenor as opposed to a soprano.

Due to the plastic body, it is less susceptible to humidity and tempurature so it stays in tune better.

Tiki King, post some pictures of your customized Fluke!
