Great for you, now delete this post out of CREATING TIKI area and put it in the BEYOND TIKI area.

Congratulations Pistons! What're you gonna carve them into? Are you going to rough them out with a chainsaw, or are you just going to start with the chisels & gouges? I'd like to see one of them carved into a Raratongan Tangaroa figure, is that request possible? Which one do you think would be best for that "Tripod" look?

it would probably be better to machine a piston into a tiki.

actually that would be kick-ass cool. any machinists out there? let's see a metal (billet?) tiki!

A billet tiki would be way cool. Please someone do it!

I was always confident that a stream of creative tiki ideas would emerge from even a sports related topic!

That one looks plasma cut. I've seen a guy that sells at car shows that makes stuff like that.

plasma rocks.

i did some work with a blacksmith where 1/2" stainless steel was cut thru with a CAD/CAM controlled WATER JET machine. the water contained abrasives mind you. talk about a killer super soaker...

That's actually a friend of mine Len who does all that stuff....tp holders and all. He was in a surf-trash/garage band called Snakeout back in the 80's.
