Aloha everyone. My publisher is insiting that I add some drink recipes to an appendix of Tiki Road Trip. So... I call on you, sages and mixologists of Tiki Central, to bust out your vintage Trader Vics or other bar guides and Email me authentic vintage recipes for the following drinks: Suffering Bastard I've got the others I need already (Mai Tai, etc). Please cite your source (i.e. Trader Vics Cookbook 1948, etc.) with each recipe... Email to [email protected] or post here. Thanks, or as the Rapa Nui say - JT |

I'm looking for recipes for non-alcoholic tiki drinks (for the office). Should I just make 'em eithout the rum, or can I substitute something else? (Serving up some Trader Vic's Mai Tai Mix with a swizzle stick just seems so horribly WRONG.) thanks! --cynner |
