Has anyone been by it lately? Porpoise Pub to reopen, sans monkey By SHARON L. BOND and ANNE LINDBERG Published December 5, 2004 SEMINOLE - The Porpoise Pub at 8701 Seminole Blvd. is under renovation and expects to have its kitchen reopened Dec. 13 after being closed for more than a decade, according to Dan Mannello, the pub's new general manager. Mannello said the ownership group has two new partners who are refurbishing the pub, which opened in 1958 and at one time featured porpoises in its pool and at least one monkey in its open-air bar. Used to smoke massive amounts of p@t in the back in the late 70's .... I'm going to stop by this week and have a drink or 4 it has to be 10+ years since I stumbled out of there !!!!!
