Hey yall! I have also thought about getting some mugs from Dynasty with blank areas, and trying to silk screen them myself. But they maynot hold up well. Anyone have any suggestions or offers? |

DAGA in Honolulu did a great job for us on the SF Crawl last year, but the cost is about the same I'm afraid. |

I had some mugs made up with decals under the glaze, 72 total. Price was right around $500, which I think is about as inexpensive as you'll likely get. |

I apologize if I brought up some bad old memories. I am new around here and may not know the history behind this guy. I really could care less if you order from this guy or not. Truely, I was just trying to help and found that website awhile back. If someone can give me a like to a prior tread, I would appreciate it, now I am very interested. I hope I haven't screwed myself around here on my first post. |

im not sure if this will help with your conquest, but what the drunken hat and i did for the hooptylau last october was we ordered retiring mugs from tiki farm and had chongolio (an AWESOME artist on tc) make a stencil for us to airbrush. we only required 30 mugs, so im not sure if this would work for you (that is, if you require more mugs) holden and frank at tikifarm were extremely helpful and were able to point us in the right direction to an inexpensive mug that fit the part. we simply used pinstriping paint which has to be bought at an auto-paint supply. it wasnt very hard to do, but it did take some time. |

you might try they're in texas even, so maybe you'll save on S&H. you might also consider, silkscreened/printed plastic ware.. not quite as classy as a real tiki mug.. but cheaper! elicia |

Almost Human, I lived in Milford, TX up untill recently. I know of that bakery in West (damn good) and Wacoland. I now live outside of Lubbock. Conga Mike, The link that Dogbytes is the one that is currently on my site. It's Houze (pronounced like Hoose)Promotions. I've done business with them for employers, but not personal. TikiClean, That's a great idea! was the stencil in vinyl? If so I have the image vectored... pin stripe paint huh. Hmmmmm Dogbytes.. you hit the nail on that one :) And a big "THANK YOU" to all the well wishers. I appreciate it, honestly, this place in my new home and I'm happy to have so many friends here. I will post about the party soon. I'm going to check out the Kona Kai in Dumas, if not there then possibly the KoKo Inn in Lubbock. The KoKo Inn has already contacted me, and are very excited to help out with the festivities. But more on that later. |

I've not followed this thread like I should have... Us Ohioans (Fraternal Order of Moai) are discussing a similar topic for a car show we're planning on Memorial Day weekend. While looking for an inexpensive mug with an event logo, my wife (who works for a restaurant supply company) came across this: You have to go to the products, then the actual page number, then to Polynesian barware or something and they have a few common styles. I'm still waiting to hear what a price would be for the logo. Something to consider, I guess. |

Thanks StingRay! I do have another question pertaining to this mug delimea. In the Dynasty Wholesalers catalog (there website has broken picture links), What does the back of these mugs look like? Are they "smooth" or do they have enough room in the back for a logo? I have the brown Moai (DW128), but waht do the backs of DW114, DW141 and the DW136 (G&B) look like? Any pictures?

Um Hello, I work at the Zombie Club in Crown Point, IN. My boss took me to the National Restaurant Association show at McCormic Place in Chicago this past May. I picked up a few of his mugs for $2.00 apiece. About the only one with a perfectly smoth back is the "Fu Man Chu", but most have a flat area large enough to carry a bar name on it, with the exception of "Logs" and "Bamboos".

I looked into the ceramic decals, which were cheap enough, and was planning on taking my 9 dozen brown Maui mugs to a local ceramic party place to rent their kiln (most of these places will welcome some extra income), but it turned out that the brown Maui had a pattern of hatch marks across their backs. People were thrilled enough with just the mug. I have 6 left from the origional 108. It was that kind of party. I don't know if this helps, but I seem to be rambling at this point. Happy three oh! |

Thanks Raffertiki! What I ended up doing was I purchased some beutiful saphire blue mugs from oriental trading co. and I had a freind of mine cut some paint masks and I am applying automotive pait to them. I waiting on them to arrive in the mail so I can distribute them to the ones who ordered. I only have a dozen. Not a very big demand for them I guess. But as soon as I get the finnished product in my hand I will post a few pics. |

Check out this 48 oz. volcano mug. I almost ordered these for our boat club Luau, but was vetoed at the last moment. They can do 50 with your logo/slogan for under $300, including shipping (to St. Louis) with an 8 day turnaround. http://poolsidepineapple.com/CART%20PAGES/shopping%20page%20ceramic%20cups.htm |

I ordered 12 plain blue mugs from OT just like CER-B001 (in Rev. Tiki's link above). I kinda wish I had known about this place before but that's cool, I'll know for the future. That is if more than 8 people order. |

I came across some more promotional mugs (144 min order), but incase anyone was wanting to know to persuede their boss. I would rather go through tikifarm, but to let everyone know of the availibility of other items out there that their business may do business with. http://www.branders.com/s/Promotional-Mug---12-oz.-Tiki-50768.html http://www.branders.com/s/Promotional-Mug---12-oz.-Tiki-Flair-50769.html http://www.epromos.com/products/tiki.html http://www.ceramic-source.com/Individual_pages/ceramic_mugs.fld/tiki_ware.htm Anyways like i was saying, if your boss wants to spend money with a promotional company and not go through TikiFarm itself, then there are a few places he/she can hit up. Should this be moved to marketplace? |
