Need expert advice on "50's Martini Lounge" musical styles

I know this is for TIKI music, and maybe should be under another topic area, but I know a lot of folks here into Tiki are also into Lounge and other similar genres.

If someone asked you for a list of tunes/artists that play in a "50's Martini Lounge" style, what would you suggest? We have a gig where we're going to be just fine, I'm sure, but I'm just curious about what else is out there that would fit in this style.

If you have some tunes you could post (or links to some), that would be fantastic!

The greatest, coolest, smoothest lounge music I ever heard has come from the fabulous Hammond B-3, and always under the hand of its absolute master, Mr. Jimmy Smith, who just passed away.

Here is a link to an album that is so cool that it will actually make one weep into one's leopard-skin dinner jacket:

Anything by Combustible Edison.

Check out the compilation "Velvet Lounge-Late at Night" its a 3 cd box. I think Capital music puts it out.
