here's the latest; a girl at work wanted me to carve up a tiki for her dad's patio.

photo was emailed from a camera phone, so it's not the best, and the head and feet are cut off, but that's the best one. he looks better in person.

Thanks Ben... i'm not happy with the photo quality, but i did like the way he turned out, and so did the new owners, so i guess that's what counts.

cool looking little dood. The dark stain does give him a good bit of character

Thanks flacookz, dogbytes, hewey... i was thinking about inviting myself over, but i'm moving on to the next tiki; i started a maori guy in pine, then i'll start on a Ku-style in sabal palm.

i really need to take the carving to the next level and start bringing them to life.
