Cocktails with loose leaf tea

Aloha,

I'm new to Tiki Central and this is my first real post. I work for Rishi Tea and I was wondering if anybody has used loose leaf tea in a cocktail recipe. Some of our teas and herbals can be used in a martini shaker. I thought this might be a great idea to add your favorite liquers and juices to. Some of our herbals and botanicals are native to the islands, so they might make a good tiki drink!

This is not a tiki drink but it is a good one if you like tea.

1-2 shots of Lemon flavored vodka
Fill the glass with ice and fresh brewed iced tea.

Serve in a large beer or iced tea glass, garnish with a lemon slice.

Thanks for the idea. Sounds refreshing! My brother Finkdaddy and I are going to try and come up with a loose leaf recipe. We'll fill you in when its perfected!
