WooHoo! Soccer Tiki and are excited to finally have a Tiki Bar in The LBC!!

The good ol KB club, played lots of hazy punk rock shows there. A tiki bar is a great addition to Long Beach hopefully their keeping the live entertainment permit. The inside looks good from the pics. Are they going to let people park in the back and enter through that way, instead of walking down the alley around to the front like the KB was?

I’m kickin’ off the opening of the PUKA BAR with my 4th Annual ORiental Valentine Party TONIGHT (Sat, 11th)!!
The Tiki bar has a Large venue “hidden” through an archway that’s usually not open to the public, yet.Byron and Larry have been generous to let us use it again.
We’ve decorated it into an Opium Den-like atmosphere.
All you have to do is Bring an Asian dish (potluck), Dress in Oriental attire, and a few $ for the Band (Mark Torch (of Hollywood Combo) & friends).
The capacity is only 120 and we’ve got 82 confirmed responses, so come on down, quickly!

Well, I have high hopes for this place, it has alot of possibility, but needs lots of time/money/and work on the drinks.
I don't know about Fri. or Sun. but Sat. the place was crazy jammed, but most of the people seemed to be Friends/family/local bar people for LB area. ONly 8 or so TC members over the coarse of the night I pieced together from talk to people last night.
They have a huge room to the far right of when you walk in, that will be great
for bands to play in when they finally get the place refurbished and decorated.
Weird how the Pics that Spermy Posted loked amazing, but when I got there I was like uhhhhhh,what happened?
Good luck to Puka Bar, tell me when it's really ready and the drinks are good.
