Hi!That is so cool. I'm working on my outdoor tiki bar and connecting indoor tiki room. Is yours patio and garage? What did you use to attach the bamboo around the door frame?

Thanks for the compliment. To attach the bamboo to the doorframe, I split the bamboo, pre-drilled holes for screws and then screwed them into 1" x 2" lengths of wood. Then I covered the screws with pieces of rope, which were hot glued together. I then stapled velcro on the wood strips and on the doorframe itself (I could've used adhesive velcro, but that would have left a residue) and just stuck the pieces on. It actually worked out really well. When the party was over, I just pulled off the bamboo/wood strips, pulled out the staples on the doorframe velcro and it looked as if nothing had been there. Also, I did stain what I thought would be the visible portions of the wood (if you got close you could see about 1/4" on the sides) just to make the look flow.
