Rear Admiral Joseph's Original London Dry Gin

Has anyone tried Rear Admiral Joseph's Original London Dry Gin from Trader Joe's? Is so, how is it? Would it be good for making tropical drinks?

Yes, as a "cheap" gin it is pretty good. I would always use it before resorting to Gilbey's or Gordon's. I like to use it in my gin'n tonics and singapore slings and save the hendricks and bombay for martinis.

Not a gin you can get in London, despite the name!
