My first acrylic - first tiki painting

I wanted to make a little something for my living room so I decided to give a shot at painting with acrylic. I usually work with oil or inks, so that was interesting. I am still debating the colors of the flowers but hopefully I will decide that tonight or tomorrow. It's 16" X 20" |

so far, so good. be sure to let us see it when you decide on the color of the flowers and have it finished. keep up the painting and show it off! |

done! I like how it turned out. I usually just hate what I paint and the more I look at it, the more I learn to like it. :) |

Killer colors! Killer painting! Those are the exact colors we used in ours kids Hawaiiana style room. Keep up the nectar work! |

Thank you foamy. I will go back to my usual oil and inks soon and I might post some new things after my finals. Now I am in love with monkeys with fez hats! :lol: |
