The Chef will once again open their wonderful, Witco-filled tropical environs with fine food, delicious drinks and some terrific tunes courtesy of the Cocktail Preachers. The Preachers' blend of laid-back exotica and surf guitar instrumentals is sure to pair up wonderfully with the delicious mai-tais served at the Chef. As always, the entertainment is free of charge, and reservations are recommended to procure your seat at what will certainly be one of the best venues for Tiki and Hawaiian enthusiasts to celebrate the end of 2006 and the birth of 2007. The Cocktail Preachers will be performing two sets: one at 8:30, and another at 10:30 taking us through to the countdown at midnight. The Chef is located at 7930 W. 26th St., North Riverside, IL. For reservations, please call the restaurant at 708-442-7080 So come ditch that parka, break out your best Hawaiian shirt, have some tasty food, some wonderful tropical drinks, enjoy the live music, and welcome the new year with a mighty ALOHA!
