I came across this discussion thread on the Houston Architecture Info Forum on Tiki stuff here

http://www.houstonarchitecture.info/haif/index.php?showtopic=7896&hl=tiki

WOW, Man I'd like to add all that info on my site's Lone Star Tiki directory:

I'm surprised that there are no plans yet to reopen a Trader Vic's here (unless it's "hush hush"). And we're closer to the water than Dallas is!

I was checking out the CLOUSEAUX website and it says they are playing at the Continental Club on Sat. May 12th for a event called "Night of the Living Tiki Art Opening"

Heres the link...http://clouseaux.tripod.com/index.html

This sounds to cool and is something Houston needs really bad. We have no Tiki places I know of. (That piece of crap on NASA RD doesn't count!!!)
It'd be cool to meet Houston Tiki folks as well....

Formikahini - contact me if you need more info. I'm the one who posted that stuff on the houstonarchitecture site. :)

Hard to keep active on both sites!

Somewhere on this board are Trader Vics photos from Houston. Probably the same ones tho...
