"Bid 'em, Dan-O!" Steve McGarrett wants you to win...

Ok, the connections herein are patently obvious, so no need to discuss that issue in too much detail. I mean, you've got Al Harrington, and don't forget Elvis. Plus, is there a better theme song to a television show? No. Really, after that King Kamehameha fella, Don Ho, and Duke Kahanamoku does anyone say "Hawaii" like....the myth, the acting legend, the one and only:

No way, Magumbo. Jack was the man, in my book....'em. And now, direct from his estate, Jack Lord can be yours...in Chinese velvet. Loads of interesting items, some decent art, a lot of clothes. In a particularly strange coincidence many of his personal cothing items are being bid upon by "Jacksrealove". Uh, there's a story there, but I don't get that channel with my cable package.

This particular item, along with the autographed photos from Harry Truman and Omar Bradley, interests me greatly. Dig the scene: you encounter some bad m'fers with poor manners, they question your authority to straighten them out, they challenge your...err...lets's say, "jurisdictional powers". You whip out this bad boy: "Yeah, punk. I'm 5-0. Five-effin' Oh":

Seven hundred is a bit rich, but I could envision an appropriate time for displaying such bitchin' item. Then again, would one have the opportunity to fully explain the provenance while adjusting the attitude of mouthy punk? Doubtful. McGarrett's badge, though. It's McGarrett's badge!

Oh, and yes...I did my best but could not find

Any Tikis Here, Dano?!?

Wow .... it is amazing of all the Jack Lord memorabilia up for sale ...

My favorite is the set of Hawaii 5-0 orchestrated sheet music - autographed, of course. The guitars and ukuleles (played by Elvis!) are pretty neat too - not to mention Jack Lord's personal photo album. Or a autographed of photo, from Sammy Davis Jr to Jack Lord.

There are so many (672) objects up for sale, that it is likely that you might be able to get something at a decent price. The problem will be deciding which items to choose to bid on.
