Portland OR Atomic Age Alliance Meeting at The Alibi

Hi all-

The June meeting of the Atomic Age Alliance will be at the Alibi on Sunday June 24 at 5pm. The Atomic Age Alliance of Portland is a non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to celebrating historic Mid-Century Modern design, signage, architecture, culture and business through ongoing advocacy, activism and educational programs. Atomic Age Alliance-Portland's next meeting will be at the Alibi on January 27th at 6pm. Our current project is to look for a new home for the Crown Motel neon sign which is just up the block from the Alibi. We have been getting some great press and just had a story tonight on Fox News 12 10 o'clock news. Once the Crown Motel sign is relocated we hope to make Interstate Avenue a designated neon district.
