Bongos & Brass

Just got "Bongos & Brass" by Hugo Montenegro off iTunes, after being tipped off to the album on spaceagepop.com.

The album is fantastic, featuring Johnny Pacheco on bongos and congas prior to his stint on Fania Records.

Holy Crap! I didn't grok what you were saying at first I thought you had picked up a copy of the vinyl off of ebay. I'm pretty surprised to see it on iTunes.

I was very surprised to find it on iTunes myself. As for eBay, I got a copy of Jack Costanzo's "Learn/Play Bongos with Mr. Bongo" album - what a treasure!

Now if I can only get my hands on "Hawaii with a Bongo Beat" by Leroy Holmes...
