Old Skull Mug

Hi,
Love this site. I have come across a lot of old tiki skull mugs. I am usually after vintage Hawaiian clothing but have aquired tiki items along the way I have ID most of them except for this one. It is older then the rest it composed of a material much like real old salt shakers. Even if I bought it in a lot of tiki mugs is this even tiki? I would appreciate any help.

cool find, no help identifying it's origins probably japan, definitely looks like stained bisque with and interior glaze. Definitely a pretty piece, especially the hand/fist, an unusual detail, most have just bones for handles.

Thanks for the info. Now I know the nameof the material. Maybe that might help with the datig of mug.
