Being the tiki fanatic that I am as well as being a travel agency owner I have been pondering the idea blocking some cabins on a cruise ship and getting together a group of fellow tikiphiles for a meet and greet, maybe a trading session, aboard a 3 day (or Longer) sailing from Los Angeles down to Ensenada and back. Does this sound like anything any of you would be interested in. I would probably need about 30 or so passengers to get some good negotiations with the cruise line but as always the more the better. If this is something you were interested in would you rather do the weekend thing leaving on friday getting back on monday (maybe a pre-cruise party thursday night at Seafood Sam's or Bahooka)or something longer? What time of the year would you like to go? What budget would you be looking at? Remember cruising includes accomodations, onboard entertainment and food as well as most drinks. (Sorry guys and gals, you still have to fork out some cash for Alcohol and Soda) |
